We are now recruiting for one of the UK's leading British Manufacturers of Disability Equipment. They are part of a group of companies with offices and workshop based throughout the UK.

The Ringwood workshop are currently looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor. Working a 42 hour week with the possibility of overtime to suit the needs of the business. This is very much a hands on supervisor role, which will necessitate the daily overseeing of the team of workshop engineering personnel, ensuring both their ongoing motivation and achievement of their duties.

The successful candidate will be supervising the assembly process of our products, check fabricate and machined components, finishing processes and effectively motivating and managing the workforce, ensuring that the workshop team and off site engineers have sufficient stock levels to achieve targets and meet customer needs.

We require the successful candidate to demonstrate a good all round multidiscipline engineering background, gained within a technical manufacturing environment and will possess comprehensive skills and experience with Sage Manufacturing or similar.

An excellent communicator at all levels, you will have the essential influencing and strong leadership skills required to drive the team going forwards. You will be confident in your own abilities in terms of both continuous improvement and sustainment as well as in the control and management of the shop floor workforce.

Able to liaise with the production support team to prioritise efficiently, and ensure that both companies' processes and procedures are compiled with and jobs are going out as required. You will be responsible for all Health and Safety on the shop floor and for ensuring that the team are motivated to achieve production and service deadlines on a daily basis.

It is an essential requirement for this position that you demonstrate proven hands on assembly process experience, as well as a full clean driving licence. A forklift truck licence would provide distinct advantage. Salary will be dependent on experience.
