About the Company:
My client is one of the UK's largest energy companies who are looking to ramp up the recruitment process one of the most innovative and largest ever private investments in the UK. With a longevity of work in hand, they have a fixed term contract for 2 years as a requirement for an Environmental Manager to join their team in the North West region.
It'€™s your time to play an integral role as part of their environmental team in assisting in the implementation and management of the Environmental Impact Assessment for my clientâ€™s Development Consent Order.
About the role:
You will be tasked to do, but not limited to:
** Support the implementation and management of the EIA for my client'€™s DCO
** Preparation of documentation required for the EIA, DCO and Intelligent Customer (IC) review of all EIA papers
** Interface with other departments and work streams to coordinate the work plan delivery for an EIA
** Liaise with contractors and consultants to ensure timely provision of information to and from my client
** Act as technical support for other departments as necessary
** Responsible for managing a small team of Junior Environmentalists

What we are looking for in you:
I'€™m ideally looking for the correct person to have between 5 - 10 years'€™ experience within environmental management of large energy / infrastructure projects. You must be used to key stakeholder engagement and have discussion with regulators, councils and communications of people. You must be willing to travel. You must be a calm, but firm communicator, who is able to stand up in front of difficult crowds to put the message across in a firm and fair way.
