Technical Resources are looking for a CCTV and access control specialist to work as a technical support engineer in a successful division of an international manufacturer of CCTV and access control products. They currently have one of the best reputation in the security market and they are looking for candidates to provide support to both customers and distributors.|
Technical Support Engineer

Candidates will have to create plans, reports and test schedules for both new and existing security products whilst reporting to the Technical Manager.
&__61558; Provide remote support to customers, distributors, end users and installers for IP Access Control/Door Entry/CCTV
&__61558; Quick decision making to rectify problems
&__61558; Report and track faults by escalating unsolved issues through the internal CRM system.
&__61558; To provide a high level of technical support to customers and associated service facilities.
&__61558; Give Technical feedback to key stake holders in the business
&__61558; To attend key trade shows and exhibitions
&__61558; To provide on-site support to customers and end users as required
&__61558; Attend important project meetings with the European sales team.
&__61558; Provide written reports on product and customer issues.
&__61558; Perform related duties as assigned.
&__61558; Experience in providing support on CCTV and Access control products
&__61558; Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows on both desktop and servers
&__61558; Technical knowledge of TCP/IP networking
&__61558; Excellent communication skills Â- both written and verbal
&__61558; Self-motivated and able to work on own and under pressure
&__61558; Good time management and priority handling with previous experience of working in a customer facing environment
