Client Direct, Hotel/Spa/Leisure Complex, Building Services Manager, £37,000|
I am recruiting on behalf of an award winning hotel, spa & leisure complex based in Surrey that is looking to recruit a Building Services Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to lead a team of 5 maintenance engineers and really make the site their own. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with O.T. opportunities available and be rewarded with a base salary of £37,000.
The site you would be based on in Surrey is an award winning complex that houses international sports stars and teams throughout the year for various different national, continental and world tournaments. The site has just undergone refurbishment for a new £3m addition that includes spa, sauna, swimming pool, gym and state-of-the-art specialist training rooms. On top of this you will be responsible for accommodation that includes 110 suites and two large conference centres.
As the newly appointed Building Services Manager you will report directly in to the Facilities Manager and will have full responsibility for the safe and efficient day to day operation of the building services team. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager on wider facilities issue and in his absence liaise with Deputy Facilities Manager.
The ideal candidate is somebody that would have at least 3-5 years experience as a Building Services Supervisor and worked in a retail/hotel/leisure environment before. My client is looking for a well skilled, motivated and client facing Supervisor who will join the site and hit the ground running. In regards to qualifications you will be electrically biased with a minimum C&G Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 and having experience with pool plant would be a bonus however training would be provided if not. You must also be able to demonstrate a hands on approach with the ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
