In line with our future business growth, an exciting opportunity now exists for a highly motivated Environmental Scientist with 5-10 years' experience to join our Darwin based team. GHD Darwin is the largest consultancy in the Territory and provides professional services to all forms of government and private industry. Our team offers a broad range of engineering and environmental services to clients in the Northern Territory, as well as nationally and internationally.

As part of a team of experienced environmental professionals, you will provide outstanding environmental advice and solutions to our clients. You will deliver environmental services to key clients in Mining, Oil & Gas, Water, Government and regional and remote communities, while ensuring compliance with GHD safety, environmental and quality standards.

With a degree in Environmental Science (or similar) ideally, you will have experience in environmental mining and water management plans. Ideally you will possess skills is any/or all of the following areas:
  • Water and groundwater sampling
  • Aquatic ecology
  • Interpretation of environmental data
  • Sediment sampling and interpretation of data
  • Knowledge and application of Australian standards and guidelines
  • Knowledge of NT flora and fauna
  • Knowledge of marine megafauna management and monitoring

Essential to the role is your sound client relation skills, your proven success in providing superior environmental advice and solutions and your outstanding communication skills.
