Experienced Support Business/Application Analyst|
Primary role is to act as the primary point of escalation and resolution for any application support. Escalate support issues to external vendors when appropriate, assist with trouble-shooting and manage issues to resolution in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Provide support to developers, testers, PMs and most specially end users for applications, including issues, provide support via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media.
Gather, analyze, validate and document user requirements and change requests in relation to supported systems and be able to challenge thinking and propose and implement solutions
Maintain and update application documentation
Provide basic end-user training as required
Actively participate (and at times take a lead role in projects as required), initially assisting with the design and implementation of small projects involving supported systems. i.e. creating Business Requirement Document
Adhering to services support SLAs and processes.
Dedicated support for business applications.
Manage Ariba Sourcing, Contract Management and Supplier Performance Management platform for Business Process Tools; Process Improvement & Change Management, and Ariba Business Reporting .
Responsible for process design and optimizing opportunities and procedures for process efficiency and customizing the platform which drive cost out of supply chain
Examine current in-house procedures, identify and implement process improvements.
Responsible to co-ordinate in implementing Sourcing eCommerce solutions that exploit use of Ariba for entire Tyco
Strategic Supply management process development, enhancement, & improvement
Maintain cross-functional User Focus group responsible for looking across organization and recommending solutions for continuous improvements in Ariba usage in all the categories.
Responsible for ongoing Training and Development on Ariba for Sourcing Commodity Managers.
Created and implemented online Auction program strategy and execution
Developed best in class Online Event Support across Tyco on RFI, RFP, and Auction creation and analysis
Strategic role on executing the RFI, RFP and eAuction by creating, monitoring and report extractions.
Creating the template for commodities wise projects
Provide ongoing supplier trainings on the Ariba platform based on the projects
Assisting supplier queries on submitting the best bids in Auction.
Creating Contract work space in Ariba.
Working with Commodity Manager’s for processing contracts through Contract Management process
Communicating with Commodity owner’s, requestor to obtain information required to complete the contract and publish
Amending the Contract workspace.
Mass uploading the legacy contracts in to Ariba Contract Management
Creating a templates based on the business requirements
Provide support to the commodity managers in repositing the contracts by setting the reminders on renewal and expiration.
Ongoing support to sourcing team for uploading the contract by setting task level approval

Examples: Bilingual in English and Spanish; design and development of complex software programs; certified training in Six Sigma
Technical Skills for: Windows Operating System, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, Sharepoint, File Transfer Protocols & SQL (possibly Oracle) Reporting/Scripting, Business Intelligence reports,
