About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary
Sensitive/Controlled Commodities Supervisor will have overall responsibility for receipt, storage, and issue of controlled storage areas within the depot including; classified, hazardous, Level 1/SubSafe, pilferable, and radioactive. Supervise, coordinate, assign duties, provide leadership and review the work of assigned staff and/or contracts for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.

Reports to and receives supervision and operational requirements from the Alternate Site Manager.
  • Timely storage of receipted assets IAW, DDC, APL's.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of storage processes APL's.
  • Knowledge of DSS, MIS, and other storage and inventory control documentation requirements.
  • Training of employees to applicable DLA SOP's
  • Performs weekly walk arounds with management and government customers.
  • Ensures organization and housekeeping of areas are maintained.
  • Work to develop innovative and performance enhancing operational processes.
  • Provides daily, weekly, and monthly safety training to employees and ensures compliance with company and customer standards.
  • Ensures timely and accurate shipment of assets in accordance with DLA regulations for controlled material and DTR 4500.9-R
  • Prepare written and oral reports to the Alternate Site Manager as required.
  • Work with other supervisors and management team to coordinate off base shipment and local delivery.
  • Ensures Quality Control/Customer Plan compliance in receiving and storage area functions.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or Logistic is preferred, but at a minimum, must possess 5-8 years private sector or military experience directly related to performance of operations or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • The position also requires the ability to pass and maintain Radiation Protection Officer training, Haz-Mat Certification Training, and other trainings as necessary to access and handle sensitive and controlled materials and their storage areas.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
