Pre-Construction Design Manager - Medium sized Developer |
Our client is a niche Developer with a very impressive portfolio of past and future projects. Schemes range from 76 RC frame units to single premium specification homes. They have found their niche in the market, their brand stands for luxury and future projects are looking very strong. This developer would be considered as a small/medium sized business, you will work closely with the Directors and have an influence on the actual design of the projects. They offer a 'family run' atmosphere, the opportunity to work in a very close team and the chance to be noticed by the Owners/Directors for your hard work. Progression opportunities are endless as the market is growing and the company is planning to grow according to the demands.
Successful Design Manager will have the following:
* Experience with Pre-Construction
* Architectural, Main Contractor or Developer Background
* A 'can do' attitude
* Ideally a Design related degree
* A stable career history
* Confident when dealing with subcontractors/authorities
You should have in depth experience with NHBC liaison, building control issues and code assessor quotations in addition to design related pre-construction knowledge. You will have proven experience in a Pre-Construction role within a developer or main contractor.
