* Previous experience in Structural / Civil Engineering, infrastructure, Bridges or Rail.
* Microstation 3D drawing experience
* HNC or similar relevant qualification
* UK Construction Industry experience
* BIM experience
A leading Principal Contractor and one of the top railway engineering companies in the UK. They are one of the most recognised and reputable names in the industry, with their current Major Project portfolio including a number of the UK's most prestigious railway engineering projects.
You will have the opportunity to work on some of the capitals major multidisciplinary railway project. These include Thameslink and Crossrail. Scope of works includes the opportunity to work on bridges, lineside structures and associated lineside civils work.
You will be a key member in the development of BIM capabilities within the office / division.
Reporting to the CAD Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the design engineers and junior members of staff, in the preparation of structural and civil engineering drawings. Ensuring their compliance with drawing codes of practice and standards, and ensure compliance with Network Rail drawing standards.
Working within the CAD Team, you will be using Microstation and producing 2D and 3D drawings.
As the ideal candidate you proven experience using Microstation, with a good technical background in civil engineering drawing.
* HND qualified, equivalent qualification or experience in relevant field
* Experience in Microstation (essential)
* Civils or structural project experience (essential)
* 2D drawing experience
* Microstation 3D drawing and BIM experience (essential)
