Owing to a steady increase in workload from a number of key clients, we are keen to recruit an Architectural Technician to join this Private Practice based on the outskirts of Hull.

Current projects include small domestic extensions through to multi-million pound commercial schemes across a number of sectors including new build dwellings, industrial/commercial works, domestic extensions, retail premises, care homes and learning difficulty facilities in the mental health.

If successful your general day-to-day duties will include undertaking feasibility studies, preparing sketch schemes, completing planning drawings & applications and delivering fully detailed working drawing packages for construction. You will be working as part of a small team of Architects and Technicians who have enjoyed substantial success across a variety of projects.
This position would best suit someone who is looking for a long term career move to a company which places a strong focus on 'people' and will truly value and appreciate your hard work. This practice is keen to develop their people and satisfy where possible personal career gaols in allowing staff to be involved in addition duties to the core role such as site visits, liaising with contractors/external consultants and team management.

You should have a minimum of 5 years UK experience working as an Architectural Technician, and should be fully proficient in AutoCAD. Any Revit skills would an advantage, although not essential. You should be able to produce drawings and details of a high standard to tight deadlines and will have a good knowledge of current UK building regulations.
