An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 'Assistant Asbestos Contracts Manager' to join a large multi-faceted construction company who are looking for someone to pursue a career within the asbestos industry.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the asbestos industry and the role would be well suited for someone who would like to develop their existing experience and knowledge. The role will be very hands-on and has been generated through the success of the company and the growth of the company's client base.

Role overview

+To provide administrative and project support to the asbestos contracts manager and asbestos manager
+Help to provide a valuable service to clients from start to finish and contribute an effective delivery programme
+Provide support to the programme and projects
+Process data and monitoring information.
+Maintain complete project files and ensure the effective filing and storage of records
+Work with coleagues, customers, and suppliers
+Support the IT process of the business
+Produce documents including quotes, risk assessments and method statements tailored to each project
+Qualifications/Experience Required

+Good knowledge of the asbestos industry
+Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
+Good attention to detail.
+Good English (written and verbal).
+Excellent organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.
+Excellent IT skills: knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook.
+Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, to work flexibly and multi-task.
+Experience of assisting and organising projects
+Willingness to travel occasionally throughout UK and work outside normal office hours as the role develops
