Your background in team / people management and experience in Quality Engineering in the Nuclear industry play a crucial part in building a team tasked to improve safety performance and drive output efficiencies, and to establishing working practices and standards. As a Quality Team Manager, you will lead a team who will analyse trends relating to site events, non-conformances, quality failures, investigations and other data sources in order to assess risk, improve safety performance and deliver output efficiencies.|

About the Job:
The client requires a Quality Team Manager to be responsible for establishing, leading and developing the LFE team. The job holder will be required to do the following:
Build a team from inception.
Managing, motivating and mentoring a team.
Operating in a demanding Customer environment.
Establish mutually beneficial relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Analyse trends relating to site events, non-conformances, quality failures, investigations and other data sources in order to assess risk, improve safety performance and deliver output efficiencies.
Creating a baseline for performance and latterly by achieving year-on-year improvements.
To be the right fit for this Quality Team Manager job, you will have Degree or similar qualification, preferably in an engineering discipline and more importantly will need significant operational experience gained in the Nuclear industry. You will have detailed knowledge of event investigation processes, tools, methods and techniques, as well as excellent communication and report-writing skills. As this is a management role you will need to be able to prove you are a capable team-builder, with the ability to mentor individuals and drive performance.
You will have some familiarity with the principles of OPEX and the expectations and practices publicised by bodies including WANO, HSE, ONR, IAEA and INPO as well as detailed knowledge of the role of regulatory bodies and the implementation of the requirements of AC/LC7.
