Raytheon UK is looking for a dynamic and high performing Agile Release Manager for its Cyber Business in London. The role will support the Agile Delivery Manager in delivering software through three scrum teams. This is a complex and challenging role involving multi-layer stakeholder engagement from customers, partners and other parts of Raytheon.
The successful candidate will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various projects. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements amd upgrades, Where necessary the successful candidate will manage the provision of tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production. This role will be highly rewarding and high profile, with extensive communication and interfacing with stakeholders, demanding excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of energy and stamina. The work location will primarily be based in London with potential for travel to Manchester.  

Main Duties:
Coordinate and schedule the front-end demand of the scrum teams
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures.
Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for senior management.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Identify opportunities for business process improvements within project scope.
Develops improvements and innovations to enhance performance.

Candidate Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering or business management
Proven ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic fast pace environment.
Have an understanding of Agile development methodologies
Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A logical problem solver who can operate effectively under stretching project constraints.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Able to use initiative to improve team process and performance.
Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required)
