Fully acknowledging that it is only by attracting the very best people that they will achieve their goals, they are seeking a talented Sustainability Engineer to work in their beautiful offices in Oxford.
The role will require you to:
-Undertake thermal and energy simulations to support the design of sustainable buildings, including Part L assessments for Building Control submissions.
-Assist with producing Energy Performance Certificates at levels 3 and 4 and Display Energy Certificates
-Expand the role of Building Sustainability engineer to encompass wider issues of sustainability within the built environment
-Produce specialist reports as required by a variety of project requirements
-Assist Architects/Surveyors/Engineers as part of a specialist team with all issues relating to energy use
-Work with contractors to implement remedial works
-Production of graphical and written information where appropriate
What we need from you:
-An understanding of Building Regulation Part L and to be accredited to produce Part L carbon emission calculations
-Able to produce concise verbal and written reports to a good standard of English
-IES proficient for both Thermal modelling and energy simulation
-Knowledge of renewable and LZCT options and their application
-Experience with planning support documents (NRIAs, London Plan etc)
-A full driving licence is preferred
