Our client is a process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation engineering company that provides a design and build service for water and wastewater treatment systems. They specialise in Water and Wastewater Treatment. They are now seeking a Water & Wastewater EC&I Commissioning Engineer to join their team.

Responsible for the mechanical, electrical commissioning of pant for water, effluent and air treatment plants
Co-ordinate the various commissioning activ8ities and ensure that all required test and documentation are completed and recorded
To undertake MCC and PLC FATS tests at supplier's premises and ensure FATS test reports are completed
Undertake MCC and PLC onsite SATS and ensure SATS test reports are competed
Review the design and client specification documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding commissioning contract requirements
Prepare commissioning risk assessments and method statements where necessary to meet CDM and clients requirements
Visit existing operational plants and plants in takeover period as required investigating and addressing operational problems
Monitor the H&S and environmental performance of any sub-contractors onsite
Undertake 2 weekly safety and environmental audits on site during the commissioning phase
Prepare and submit detailed site daily reports in timely fashion
Maintain the site based filing systems during commissioning
Ensure the health and safety of all staff, etc
"Red-Line" mark up of as-built drawing and issuing of such to the relevant Project manager for updating
Maintain the commissioning programme in accordance with the requirements of the contract
Notify relevant project manager of early warning and requests for information to satisfy requirement of the contact
Ensure all snag items are resolved, client hand over is satisfactory concluded and that there is no prolongation of project
Maintain good communication links between the relevant project Manager and other members of the tram, outside organisations and liaise with staff
Working on sites overseas within the UK as required by the Contracts Manager

The successful candidate must have BTEC Level 2, 3, 4 & 5 / HNC in Electrical related discipline. Knowledge of LV/HV applications, Installation / comm8issioning. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Desirable Training:
Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsi PLC based systems
IEE Regulations 17th Edition
CITB (SSSTS) Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme
EUSR National Hygiene Card
Water Related Safety Passport

If the successful candidate hasn't had training in any of the above, training will be provide
