Rail Electrical/CCTV Service Engineer, London & South East, £30,000 with Van |
Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to install and maintain electrical, CCTV and general communication systems onboard UK rail rolling stock (trains).
General engineering support
Assisting in project installation where required
Correct storing & maintaining of technical information including manuals, health & safety documentation and where applicable standards and rail standards
Undertaking of toolbox talks either by yourself or in a group
Attending where required customer meetings
Giving technical assistance to Senior Engineer(s), Project Engineer(s), Project Manager(s) for scope of works regarding Method Statements, Risk Assessments & Works Package Plans
Assisting with the supervision of installation engineers/teams as an when required
Liaising with customers representative, sub-contractor to gain access to site for maintenance/installation works
Provide head office with required documentation on works undertaken.
Resolve maintenance customer complaints and report findings to management...
Communicate/report all technical/engineering issues to senior members of staff
Undertake when required test & inspection, installation, snagging and Commissioning tasks
You will be required to attend faults and possibly maintenance services outside of normal working hours (evenings, nights, weekends or Bank Holidays)
Qualifications and Experience Required;
17th Edition Electrical qualification (desired)
3 years' experience in installation & maintenance of; electrical, CCTV & general communication systems (on-board UK rail rolling stock)
Personal Track Safety (PTS)
£30,000 salary with a company van, mobile phone and lap top.
This role is covering the South East and will cover London, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire
