Our client in Milton Keynes are actively recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing manufacturing site; working on weekdays.
Major Job Accountabilities:
-Provide technical advice in troubleshooting & problem solving situations.
-Be able to interrogate & analyse relevant P.L.C. software.
-Perform periodic Preventive Maintenance on plant machinery & equipment.
-Provide input & recommendations for improvements to the Maintenance
Management System.
-Procedure, work access & personal safety provisions.
-Regularly check quality of instrumentation to meet production, safety & legal requirements.
-Provide regular feedback & recommendations to improve the operability of plant machinery & equipment & reduce maintenance costs.
-Ensure all instrumentation & electrical documentation is updated & easily
-Ensure all current software in use on plant machinery & equipment is backed up regularly.
-Co-ordinate Instrumentation & electrical work during project work to
achieve planned goals.
-The day to day instrumentation is mainly temperature & weight e.g. load
-Also PLC work, weighing equipment, pressure & temperature control.

Education & Career Experience:
-Electrical apprenticeship, HNC or higher qualification.
-Demonstrate previous experience in working on similar plant & equipment.
-Be able to read circuit diagrams.
-Be able to logically fault-find.
-Knowledge of Instrumentation: mainly temperature & weight e.g. load cells. -Also knowledge of PLC work, weighing equipment, pressure & temperature control.
-Be able to do basic fault finding using Siemens S5 & S7 software.
-Be able to learn new PLC software.
-Have a good understanding of basic electronic principles.
-Have knowledge of current electrical regulations.

The hours of work are weekdays doing: 08:00am-4:00pm.
