Position: Fire Service / Maintenance / Installation Engineer|
Main Role & Responsibilities
Service & Maintenance of fire systems (possibility for Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control Systems, to be included also).
This role requires extensive knowledge and familiarity of the commonly installed hardware and software used with fire systems (attendance of relevant training courses if required.) Knowledge and competency in Intruder Alarms, Intercom, CCTV & Access Control would be a distinct advantage and recognised in the remuneration package.
All persons within the Company employ have a responsibility to ensure full compliance with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
The candidate must also be able to work alongside other engineers in a considerate manner.
Good communication skills are a must, being able to liaise with the client, end-user and our own Management Team.
Candidates with supervisory / management potential will be given opportunity to progress.
Good working knowledge of, but not limited to the following products, would be a distinct advantage: - Advanced, Morley, Kentec, Vesda etc, on the security side RBH, Paxton, PAC, Milestone, BVMS, Galaxy, Texecom, Pyronix, bpt.
A company uniform will be provided to carry out your duties. All out-of-pocket expenses incurred on behalf of the Company business will be paid. Expected to provide their own hand tools, but the company will issue other tools i.e. 110v equipment, cordless drill, meter and ladders etc.
Working hours will nominally be 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, although some flexibility will be required to ensure that we meet our clients needs.
Salary negotiable around £28,000 - £35,000 subject to knowledge and experience.
23 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays).

Standby allowance and overtime available
