A Quality Engineer is needed to work on a high-technology products for a company in South London

Working with the Quality Manager you will implement, control and apply appropriate Quality Tools, ensure correct manufacturing documentation is being applied in accordance with the QMS and customer contractual requirements and implement Quality Tools which demonstrate effective Quality Control for in-house Manufactured / Purchased parts (MSA, FOD, FAIR, and LAIR). You will also carry out inspections of WIP and documentation to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications and customer requirements, perform supplier assessments and surveillance and audits against proven processes and leading any corrective/preventive actions.

In addition to this you will support quality control activities including calibration, mechanical inspection and vendor rating activities, ensure process equipment is maintained and calibrated regularly and provide effective component control (Traceability, cleanliness, handling) including monitoring process failures and support corrective and preventive actions and that all Process Documentation is being followed, supporting where inadequacies are found. You will also develop the quality control systems consistent with the business needs and the requirements within ISO 9001 and other recognised Quality Standards (e.g. AS9100)

To succeed within the role you will need to be an experienced Quality Engineer with a good understanding of Quality Tools (RCA, CAPA, FMEA) and R-R Quality requirements (SABRe, GS3001, RRES90009). You will need 5 years' experience of working in a relevant manufacturing role and an understanding of specifications, engineering drawings and principles and quality standards (ISO9001 / AS9100) and a full clean driving licence.
