We are looking for an experienced Sage 300 (formerly AccPac) Consultant to work on the new cloud version of the product which has recently been released and has given the product a new lease of life. The role is based in vibrant Melbourne in Australia and you would be joining a thriving and very successful full service Sage solutions provider operating in the ANZ region.

They cover the complete range of products including Sage 300 (AccPac), Sage ERP X3, Sage CRM and Sage Payroll and have clients across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. They are now the leading mid-market provider in Australia and winners of many prestigious awards from Sage.

They are looking to pay up to 95,000 AUD (c £50,000) plus a 5000 AUD bonus and, if you are relocating, they will provide an apartment for the first month and a rental car for 2 weeks whilst you get settled. This role is suitable for a local Australian candidate or someone who already has the right to work in Australia, or potentially citizens of countries like the UK, Ireland and Canada where it is easier to obtain a 2 year working visa for Australia and you fit all of the criteria on the Australian visa website.

Sage have recently released a new version of the Sage 300 product which is called Sage 300c; this is a cloud version of the Sage 300 product with a brand new look and feel. It means the potential for growth in the Sage 300 market is really quite dramatic and for this Sage consultancy it means lots of new deals and lots of upgrades. Sage 300c includes UI or screen web user interfaces for account payable, accounts receivable, ledgers, tax, bank and admin services screens. These beautiful screens are truly web based and will run on any device with a browser including tablets.

You will be responsible for Sage 300c implementations including pre-sales, requirements analysis, workshops, documentation, customisation, client training and ongoing support and should be capable of running simultaneous, multiple projects. You will understand business processes and have the ability to talk to clients at all levels and build strong relationships, and will enjoy helping them to make their businesses more successful through better use of software.

Your profile:

Experienced Software Implementation Consultant with at least 2 years Sage 300 (AccPac)
Pre-Sales skills
Good business process knowledge
Solid knowledge of accounting
A track record in a client facing software role
Excellent verbal & written communication
Well organised, enthusiastic, independent and hardworking
You would be joining a team of 5 Consultants, who cover the Sage 300 and Sage CRM market, this includes a Consultant with 10 years Sage 300 experience, a very strong Sage Developer and 2 other strong ERP consultants. Sage 300 covers the entire business market across all sectors but our client concentrates on finance, manufacturing, food & beverages and distribution.
