Company & Project: Top 20 main contractor operating in the Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and Leisure & Retail sectors on a national basis, are seeking to recruit an experienced and effective Site Manager to complement their construction delivery team, based in on a live project close to the North London/Hertfordshire border.
The project is a Design & Build project to construct a new Leisure facility, incorporating a start of the art swimming pool and gym/fitness suite. Construction works will be carried out over a 2 year construction delivery programme.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing one part of the project c£25m in single value, a fast-track refurbishment project under JCT form of contract.
Supporting the Construction Management Team, you will be expected to contribute to all site management functions for the project, through to practical construction delivery of the project, and any subsequent snagging and defects work.
Previous experience in working on projects in excess of £5m as is essential, along with a good working knowledge of H&S, producing a quality build with low defects, and strong team working skills.
* Previously held Site Manager roles with recognised Top 100 Main
* Experienced in delivering Construction projects in excess of £5m+ as part of a
larger Construction Management Team.
* Ideally from a Trade or Site Engineering background, including a BSc in
Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
* Solid technical knowledge of short term programming, construction
methodology and health & safety.
* Previous Roles: Construction Manager OR Site Manager OR Assistant Site Manager.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognised institution at 2:1 or better.
