This established Civil and Structural Design Consultant with offices in the Midlands, London and the North West are looking for a Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer who has the drive and enthusiasm to play an integral role in their modern design studio.
Due to continued and rapid expansion over the last few years, this company have an extensive portfolio of various building structure design projects and therefore actively recruiting for a number of Civil Design Engineers to work on Drainage and Infrastructure design schemes.
The company are looking for Civil Design Engineers, experienced in the design of roads, sewers, infrastructure and drainage related to commercial and residential buildings. You will be working with and supporting the in-house engineering team in the preparation of road and sewers and infrastructure design drawings for construction, tendering, and planning application purposes. You will also carry out engineering appraisals and technical reviews, to provide a practical and cost-effective solution to engineering problems. You will be able to manage external clients to ensure engineering constraints are adhered to and within agreed deadlines. You will also be taking responsibility for dealing with Local Authorities, Drainage Authorities, Environment Agencies and NHBC, in order to satisfy the many and wide-ranging constraints in order to gain technical approvals.
You will have a Civil Engineering qualification or construction related subject. A good level of AutoCAD experience, with experience in the use of Micro Drainage and PDS is essential. You will be an enthusiastic individual with good communication and problem-solving skills and a 'can do' attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs
