Job Title: Graduate Software Developer
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
Working as the Software Developer you will participate and acquire skills in the following; *Product planning (Scrum, Kanban)
*Agile processes and tools
*Test driven development (TDD)
*Full lifecycle application development
*Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages
*System and requirements analysis and review
*Object-oriented design and analysis (OOA and OOD)
*Front end graphical user interface design
*Software testing and quality assurance
*Supporting and maintaining existing systems
*Integrating software with existing systems
*Documenting software functionality
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a Computer Science related discipline and will hold a minimum of a 2.1 classification. You will ideally have some experience with C#, .NET and Visual Studio. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to provide clear and concise information on the progress of your work to business stakeholders, you will have strong problem-solving skills and lateral thinking as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, and will use appropriate tools effectively to achieve goals.
