Experienced Engineering Sales Manager required for an excellent career opportunity with one of the largest and well known engineering companies in the world.

An exciting role exists for an experienced Sales Manager to support the ongoing growth and development of our Client's global drivetrain systems business. The role will be based at their transmissions site in Wrexham with regular global travel.

Your Responsibilities:

Sales growth and retention including sales prospecting in the various countries and market sectors
Technical trouble shooting and product specification from application data sheets
Liaising and negotiating pricing and contractual terms with OEM Management and VP/ President/Proprietor level
Developing business plans and opportunities for new projects by customising existing products or proposing new products
Researching new markets/industries/OEM's and establishing trusting relationships
Maximising ROS and profit
Developing strategies for the given geographical region including support of planning, organisation and attendance at exhibitions relevant to targeted OEM segments, e.g. Conexpo, World of Concrete, MineExpo, GSE shows and Bauma
Resolving technical quality and warranty issues with support of the Transmissions team
Manage and develop Agents/distributors in specific territories
To fulfil this role global travel will be required

About you:

The successful Sales Manager will need to be an experienced engineer with a wealth of knowledge across both sales and applications within an off-highway driveline or machine manufacturer. Confidence will be required with senior level negotiation within the driveline industry as a Tier 1 supplier supported by substantial engineering and technical knowledge. Based on the global nature of this sales role applicants will need extensive global sales experience with a demonstrable sales achievement background.
