Role - Engineering Team Leader

Working as part of the engineering team, the successful candidate will co-ordinate the maintenance activity to provide sufficient resource to carry out the planned maintenance programme and provide breakdown cover across the shift to generate continuous improvement in the cost and quality of engineering performance.
The role holder will be responsible for a team of 2 shift based engineers including responsibility for assessment and appraisal.
The ideal candidate will be an electrically biased (but with mechanical capabilities), time served maintenance engineer (with 17th Edition) who is ideally educated to ONC / HNC level. Exposure to Mitsubishi/Siemens PLC's and having worked in an FMCG environment would be a distinct advantage as would the ability to fault find on servo's and motors. Good problem solving skills and the ability to get to the real root cause of issues are pre-requisites for this role, as are good communication and organisational skills.
