As a skilled Centre Lathe Turner, Manual Turner you could bring your knowledge and experience to a place where it is valued.
You could be working on a variety of products including bespoke made to order units for clients based globally meaning that you are not producing the same things over and over again.
For this Centre Lathe Turner, Manual Turner position you will need to have experience of setting up and operating Manual Lathes, Centre Lathe mainly on Stainless Steel & Aluminium but could include more exotic materials to tight tolerances. You will ideally need to have previously worked to a very high standard ideally for the Aerospace, Automotive or Medical Industries.
You will be able to work from Engineering drawings to produce one off or small batch products and have experience of using hand measuring tools such as Callipers, Verniers, Micrometers and Gauges to perform self-inspection of your produced work.
