Our clients are looking to recruit a team of Maintenance Technicians for their Manufacturing plant, based in Bedfordshire.
The individual will be working Night Shifts and will be performing Planned, Preventative, Predictive and Reactive Maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the Manufacturing facility.
The candidates can come from a Multi Skilled, Just Mechanical or Press Shop background, but all will need to have served an apprenticeship.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
You must have served an Apprenticeship. Please do not apply if you have not served an apprenticeship, as the client requests copies of certificates prior to making an offer.
All candidates must have worked within a manufacturing / Production facility.
This role is only available on Night Shift, working hours 10pm to 6am
Sunday through to Thursday. Please only apply if this is acceptable.
The client is happy to consider a multi skilled Maintenance Technician (electrical and mechanical), a purely Mechanical Maintenance person, or someone who has worked within a Press Shop environment.
You must be able to demonstrate effective maintenance experience and fault finding skills on a variety of equipment.
Experience with planned & predictive maintenance activities.
Ability to demonstrate strong capabilities of problem solving, route cause analysis, recording and reporting defects.
An ability to communicate effectively, operate appropriately at all levels and have the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
An ability to demonstrate effective self-motivation willing to train and be train by others.
Good problem solving skills.
Ability to fault diagnose on automated equipment.
Ability to effectively carry out tasks with appropriate feedback and corrective actions.
Self motivated and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Able to complete a report on work carried and follow written and verbal instructions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This role will involve carrying out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance to manufacturing and production equipment.
Maintenance will cover Manufacturing equipment, including production lines, conveyors, etc.
Shift pattern : 10 pm to 6 am Sunday to Thursday
£31,340 per annum, Shift premium of £10,436.22
Total annual salary of £41,776.22
Yearly paid manufacturing bonus (payable in Dec - £1000)
Vacation: 23 days holidays per annum, rising to 24 days in year 2, 25 days in year 3 and 26 days in year 4.
Participate in Defined Contribution Pension Plan
Life Assurance (6x base salary conditional upon being a member of pension plan)
