Homologation and Compliance Engineer required for an excellent career opportunity with a world leader in the development and manufacture of off-highway vehicles.|
We are seeking an experienced legislation specialist who, reporting to the Test and Development Manager, will join a highly motivated and focused team working on the exciting and rapidly expanding range of Heavy Products such as excavators and other earth moving equipment.
You will be working in close liaison with design and development engineers, senior managers and other stakeholders, key responsibilities will include;
Organisation and completion of necessary type approvals.
Ensuring compliance to relevant product standards.
Liaison with technical services and approval authorities.
Co-ordination of product risk assessment and FMEAs.
Compilation and maintenance of technical construction files and documentation.
Guidance on current and future legislative requirements and effects.
Liaison with sales on regional variations and homologation requirements.
Possess a strong engineering and product legislation background.
Be educated to HND/Degree level in an associated engineering discipline (or equivalent career experience), ideally pursuing Chartered Engineer status.
Possess excellent organisational and business interface skills.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence change.
