A Quality Engineer vacancy has arisen for a machined component company primarily servicing automotive and aerospace companies. The role requires a very hands on individual to come aboard to support and influence the quality function, with a long term view of taking over the quality department as a whole. In return for your services the company are offering a salary of circa £35,000 per annum plus benefits.
In the role of Quality Engineer you will have the following responsibilities;
Carry out all inspection and metrology duties, including operating CMM's
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
Work closely with machinists to analyse and resolve problems
Help to set and establish quality policies and procedures
Train and support apprentices and new staff
To be successful in your application for the role of Quality Engineer you will possess the following skills;
CNC background highly preferable
Ability to program and operate CMM using PC Dmis
Proven knowledge of working to ISO9001
A relevant engineering qualification
The role is based in Redditch and is therefore easily commutable from Droitwich, Worcester, Evesham, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham, Kidderminster, Tewkesbury, Coventry, Wolverhampton, and Banbury
