PHP Software Developer - Object Oriented|
We are on the lookout for an outstanding Software Engineer.
This is a new role for a skilled Developer to work alongside our Project Manager in the technical side of projects, and co-ordinating the team to allocate work according to skills, experience and interest.
We are looking for someone who has development experience, enjoys responsibility and is keen to share their knowledge and experience with a great team.
You'll be responsible for:
•Assisting the Project Manager with the scoping of work
•Assist with the design of the software
•Allocating work to our team of developers
•Working as part of the development team to deliver sites, which meet the requirements of the clients.
•Testing and reviewing work produced by developers to ensure teams are working to their strengths and deadlines are being met.
•Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code, which meets software development practices.
•Maintain knowledge of new technologies and good practice.
Whilst you will not be directly responsible for managing the team, your will be crucial in liaising between the developers, Project Manager and clients. You will work with the MD and Project Manager to build a skilled team of developers to meet client demand.
The person we are looking for will be ready to take on a fast-paced and exciting role. To help us deliver our great projects, you'll need to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and teams of developers and have a meticulous eye for detail. You must be able to quickly diagnose and solve problems, and have great communication skills.
To help us unlock our clients' potential you'll need:
•Degree or equivalent experience
•Between 1-5 years in a development role
•A basic understanding of web security, session management and best development practices along with some Search Engine Optimisation
•A solid understanding of web applications including security, session management, and best development practice
•Understanding of database development practices and software design
It would also be great if you have:
•Experience of Laravel Framework, AngularJS, WordPress CMS, PHP Unit Testing, Scripting Languages, App Development, Windows Development
•An understanding of Linux based operating systems
