We have an exciting role available for an architect who would be comfortable taking the lead role in the design, analysis and specification of new products for the mobile telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will be an experienced architect, with an eye for detail and a background in embedded software. This role is not hands-on, however a solid technical understanding is a must for product design purposes. You will help strengthen / lead the team in the core network interconnection protocols and Radio Access Network protocols and behaviour.
The role fits between the product marketing teams and the development team, helping to define new products, and detailing how they are to be built by the development teams. The systems team are an exceptional group of technologists, with a plethora of patents between them. As part of the tight knit team you will work alongside some of the most driven and brightest minds in the industry, working on innovative and novel solutions to technology problems.
We're looking for driven, detail oriented architects who have a technical astuteness, and a passion for product design. You will get the opportunity to define huge scale systems for some of the biggest names in the telecommunications industry working on some or all of the following areas:
- 3GPP ITU and LTE standards
- RAN Network Protocols
- IP Networks and protocols
- DHCP,DNS, NTP, RTP and SSH
- Network performance, security, and fault management principles.
- UML modelling
- OO Design.
