Bedford based with UK Travel
One of the UK's leading designers, builders and operators of waste to energy power plants currently require the services of an experienced electrical engineer to support the safe and efficient running of their network of plants.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be based out of the companies Bedford offices, though with regular travel UK wide. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operation, inspection and maintenance of HV and LV Electrical systems, act at the competent person taking responsibility for the directing, organising and accepting permits to work on electrical systems.
Other responsibilities include management of DSEAR & ATEX issues, act as the CompEx qualified design engineers and manage, control and update PLS's and SCADA software and hardware.
The successful Electrical engineer will ideally be degree qualified in electrical engineering and have recent experience working within a manufacturing or process environment. You will have taken the CompEx Ex12ADE course and have a thorough working knowledge of OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 &14001.
