Very well established international engineering consultancy is seeking a structural technician to join their team in Old Street.|
The role is permanent only and you will join a close knit team of engineers and technicians. You will have the ability and guidance to progress into a Revit technician but the initial specification requires good working AutoCAD knowledge.
They are a 100 strong consultancy with a head office in Ireland and have a busy and established London office. You should have a broad knowledge within the building structures sector and any experience with basements and excavations would be advantageous.
Projects are split in both AutoCAD and Revit, there is a real push to move fully into Revit thus will require a candidate who has the same mind-set.
You should have a number of years UK experience working on both new build and refurb projects in a variety of sectors.
The London office houses both structural and M+E teams and works on a variety of schemes incorporating buildings design, temporary works design and rail projects. They offer a good salary, pension, regular CPD and good links to relevant professional institutions. You should have excellent communication skills and be keen to work in a varied design role. Experience in temporary works design or rail would be advantageous.
You will report to a CAD manager however the role can involve you to help more junior technicians.
