Located at Gaydon, Warwickshire and within our Chassis Engineering facility - we are looking for a Chassis Engineer to work on the vehicle Suspension system, and Suspension tuning.|
The Chassis Engineer will lead the design, development and delivery of those Chassis systems that significantly contribute to our vehicle dynamics performance whilst delivering customer comfort systems.
The Suspension System Tuning (SST) team are responsible for active suspension systems, which include Active Roll Control, Adaptive Damping and Air Suspension, and passive suspension systems, such as dampers, roll bars and springs. The vision of the SST team is to increase the use of CAE methods to improve the efficiency, robustness and timing of engineering design decisions and to reduce the reliance on physical test methods.

Multi-Disciplinary Optimization Techniques
Applicants must possess an Engineering degree or relevant time served education within ideally an automotive Chassis based discipline.
Strong project management capabilities including managing tasks across a team to meet all deliverables in a timely and effective manner.
Experience of developing tools and processes that maximise efficiency benefits.
Comfortable providing coaching and guidance to other engineers.
Experience using MBS analysis tools (preferably SIMPACK)
Experience using 1D modelling tools (preferably MATLAB/Simulink or AMESim)
Experience using FEA techniques
Good knowledge of Chassis systems
An enthusiastic individual able to deliver results, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
Applicants must possess the ability to work in the UK unassisted by a Visa / Sponsorship as per the clients requirements. The position is a contract based role operating on a 12 month rolling basis
