Site Manager job role with a high-spec Residential developer who specialise in timber frame residential apartments based out of Hampshire. The job role is located on a site in Wantage. As Site Manager you will be integrated into the existing Construction Department managing the completion and successful delivery of a 32 unit project. |
Your New Company:
Medium sized developer who specialise in bespoke and high-spec residential timber frame apartments (predominately high end retirement living) across the South Coast: Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire. They are successful growing part of a business model which has been implemented over the past 12 months and are predicted to have 12 functioning projects by the end of 2016. The Construction Director has a passion for quality and providing high quality end product, on time and to budget. He is now looking for a solid Site Manager to join this expanding team who can develop their career with the company as they continue their successful growth.
Your New Role:
Your role will initially be based on a 32 unit project in Wantage . The project is a timber frame build and has around 3 months left of week until completion. The role will involve close liaison with the Contracts Manager, Director and in-house teams (Buyer / Q.S / Technical) to manage and help deliver the current site programme on time and two budget. Over aspects of the role will include sub-contractor management, health & safety & quality management.
What you'll need to succeed:
The successful candidate will have need to have current house building experience working on similar build projects (high-spec / timber frame/ apartments). Current projects consists of a 32 units development 1/2 bedroom luxury retirement apartments valued at £750,000 - £2million. A HNC, HND or BSc in Construction Management or relevant qualification as well as SMSTS, CSCS , First Aid. A background on the tool's will also be looked on favourable, ideally in Carpentry.
