My client is leading FTE 250 business with over 120 sites worldwide are looking for a Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager to help take them for around 90% to 99% conformance. Quality is truly their key differentiator and as such this is a key role in driving the business the forward.
So if you're hands on manager not afraid to get out from behind a desk and get on the shop floor to solve problem I'm interested in speaking with you.
Is primarily oriented toward a leadership role, acting as a member of the site leadership team with decision making authority for core system compliance activities affecting the site.
The role is focused around the maintenance and development of the Management Systems, to ensure compliance is maintained for various certifications covering ISO9001, BRC/IOP, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001. This will include significant liaison with customers and certification bodies and management of the associated internal and external audit programmes.
With Management Responsibility for the quality team to ensure overall compliance of the management systems while acting in a consultative forum to ensure that CI related activities are identified in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Additional responsibilities are to act as an advisory support for the site Health and Safety compliance functions, i.e. Risk Assessments, Committee Meetings, KPI's, Fire, First Aid, Legal Compliance Register and Audits and well as Operation investigations and improvements.
What I am looking for:
* Prior experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
* Strong personality and management style able to lead from the front, happy to get from behind a desk and communicate complex ideas and tackle challenges across all level.
* Lead/Internal Auditor in applicable standards and systems
* Able to apply Root Cause Analysis tools and Techniques (5S, Six Sigma, Ishikawa, etc..)
* Experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 18001
* Prior experience in a senior management role
* Management / Maintenance experience of Quality, Environment, and Safety ISO Systems
* Team management/coaching & development skills
* Ability to create ISO Management systems & disciplines
