Due to continued growth and the development of new contracts, an excellent opportunity has arisen with our fast growing client to join their telecoms engineering team.|
This role is based both in the office, where you will be assisting clients in a technical support, but also on site across the UK. As larger installations can take a number of days to complete, regular nights away are commonplace.
As an on site engineer, you will be responsible for a full range of all aspects of telecoms engineering, from the physical to the software aspects.
Examples include but are not limited to:
Physical cabling, Cat3/Cat5 cabling, Trunking etc
PBX, VM, IP, VOIP, Dect, Wi-fe, SIP
Cloud based telephony
You will be driven, with a desire to progress to a senior position. You will also have experience and/or qualifications in a telecoms engineering position, having proven skill and understanding of all the areas listed above. In addition, as the installations are performed for companies all over the UK, you must be willing to travel all around the UK for work, and stay away for a couple of days each week.
