The Onsite Service Team Lead role:
The role-holder will work as a part of and lead the Customer Site team to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of Server / PC desktop hardware and software related scenarios on customer site.
> Working alongside Service Delivery team to ensure site team deliver services to SLA.
> Responsible for organising onsite backfill/holiday cover
> Where needed liaise with Vendors/third party organisations
> Assisting in Personal Development Plans
> Resolving Incidents and Problems both directly from customers and through escalation
> Using existing skills and knowledge as well as appropriate support resources to find resolution to customer Incidents
> Implementing fixes and solutions where appropriate, either via discussing directly with customer onsite, via telephone or email.
> Performing proactive support tasks and post installation hand over
> Administering customer networks as part of managed services provision
> Conducting fault diagnosis and repair of client PC, Server & Network hardware including -
- Servers, Desktops, Laptops
- Printers, Scanners
- Routers, Switches, Firewalls
> Upgrading hardware components and Firmware
> Perform all duties in a positive and professional manner and assist in the promotion of a productive team environment
> Protect and develop the company's image, approaching all service issues in a positive and effective manner, responding immediately to fault calls and service requests
Skills and Experience:
> Should hold current relevant accreditations in Servers/Desktops and Microsoft MCP or be able to demonstrate the equivalent skills.
> Team leadership and people skills
> Good Cisco / Network / Internet knowledge
> Good technical / software skills
> Excellent customer facing skills
> Position is based on customer sites; however, you will attend offices where required.
> Working hours are based around three shifts (Apply online only), (Apply online only) and (Apply online only).
> Flexibility to move between shifts is required. A 30-minute break is in each shift. Additional hours may be required occasionally on customer site.
