Interim Projects Manager - Farnborough|
Our client is a leading water technology company with offices in throughout the world. They design, supply, installation and provide maintenance services for well-known industry-leading brands and water solution products.
Reporting directly to the MD you will be responsible for the management of the Contracts/Projects/Estimating department, delivering contracts on time and within budget.
Maximise profits in excess of the agreed budget levels, whilst ensuring highest possible levels of service are established and maintained across the business.
Direct, co-ordinate, develop and manage the contracts delivery team to achieve company targets & budgets.
Develop a strategic growth plan, recommending and assisting in the implementation of change that will improve business performance whilst satisfying current and future demands.
Assist the company in maintaining the highest possible standards of Health & Safety at Work and Quality, in accordance with current legislation and policies laid down by the company.
Ensure effective and ongoing performance management and employee development within department.
Day to day management of the department - Projects, Contracts, CAD and Estimating.
Coaching and mentoring the department to ensure deliverables are met against target.
Provide monthly reports to the MD Services indicating performance levels, trends, areas of concern, factors affecting current or future business levels/plans.
Monitor project progress plans and their budgets and report periodic progress to stakeholders and management.
Implement and maintain effective cost control utilising and adhering to policies and procedures.
Ensure all department employees fully comply with Health & Safety legislation, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
Ensure all department employees have annual PfP goals and effective performance management and succession planning is undertaken.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably experience in similar industry
Extensive background in Services industry
Proven large scale project management experience with preferably a formal project management qualification.
Educated to degree level or equivalent preferable.
