Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer/Manager|
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent.
Location: Based at our works in Coventry but you may be required to travel overseas (normally up to 2 weeks but this may vary).
With a unique offering in a niche market and a world renowned brand the sales approach of this company is not cost focussed as they are not the least cost option in the market.
Working closely with their clients, sometimes through agents, to clearly understand the requirements to provide the best solution and return on investment.
Given the cost and timescale of their sales you will need to be technically proficient in machine tools and have experience of selling high cost solutions.
" Advising and guiding customers with regards to producing specifications in order to meet their requirements and demands.
" Meeting quotation and project deadlines.
" Securing orders from national and international accounts.
" Manage and progress orders, from national and international accounts.
" Attend initial contract meetings and technical meetings, thereafter with national and international clients.
" Negotiating contractual demands verbally, directly with clients as well as in writing, both within the UK and abroad.
" Developing existing key accounts and maximising profit and growth.
Your current role should be: -
Area Sales manager, Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Account Manager
Any of these positions will translate, but selling relative products into manufacturing is a must, examples of related product ranges considered include- Machine tools, cutting tools, tooling and consumables, work holding, and machining capacity.
Salary: Competitive - Depending upon qualification and experience
