Senior Project Manager|
£75,000-£85,000 + package
Our client are looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager. They operate across a broad range of sectors, including housing, large regeneration schemes, education, health and mixed-use. They have built a reputation as a leading regeneration business working to provide cross subsidy partnerships including an increasing portfolio of development opportunities including private sale.
The Senior Project Manager will be required to lead a £20m scheme - it's low rise residential (6 storey). This consists largely of Private for sale properties. It's a 2 year job, starting in NA role will be Plymouth based. The successful candidate will lead the transition from pre-con into production and then lead a site based team to deliver this scheme right through to Client handover. There are three blocks to deliver and approximately 160 units to deliver. There are also a few townhouses.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful construction delivery of a large residential project working collaboratively with the Senior surveyor to manage the projects financial performance.
Example of responsibilities as follows:
To achieve the budgeted profit for the project
To sustain the Company's reputation with its existing client base
To provide leadership and direction so that all staff understand their role in delivering the project plan
To ensure that all project works meet the targeted schedule
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in project management within a main contractor environment and astute commercial and technical skills, along with the enthusiasm and efficiency to make a positive contribution to our multi-disciplined, integrated project teams and to the wider business.
Have a demonstrable track record in project management within a main contractor environment;

Strong experience in new-build residential projects
Have enthusiasm and efficiency to make a positive contribution to our multi-disciplined, integrated project teams and to the wider business;
Have strong leadership and motivational skills to ensure that objectives are achieved;
Good oral and written communication skills;
A methodical, systematic and logical approach;
Focus and drive to achieve targets, budgets and results;
Degree or HNC level educated or Chartered in a relevant discipline would be desirable.
