The Flakt Woods management team is currently engaged in an exciting process of business expansion. We are recruiting for a high calibre Services Project Manager, to manage projects from order through processing and to completion, to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget with customer satisfaction.

This role is home-based, covering the South West and the successful candidate will ideally be located in the Oxfordshire area.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
? Take ownership of the projects (contractual obligations, scope of supply, milestones, purchase orders, chasing suppliers, invoicing, financials, etc.).
? Attend Hand-Over meetings with the sales engineers.
? Plan and programme the activities required to complete the projects.
? Improve the GM, negotiate with suppliers and reduce unnecessary costs.
? Ensure that Warranty Issues are avoided.
? Ensure the on time delivery of the scope of supply.
? Write and ensure the purchase specifications are consistent with the contractual obligations of the project.
? Write and produce Risk and Methods Statements in line with current regulations.
? Chair internal kick-off and regular review meetings to ensure FW internal departments have a full understanding of the project requirements ? Scope of supply, programme, test requirements, delivery requirements, special instructions, etc.
? Co-ordinate & work with contractors and Flakt Woods Engineers.
? Work with the Product Engineering team to ensure product delivery is on time.
? Attendance at regular site review/action meetings with Customers, Suppliers, Main Contractors and Architects.
? Produce and submit documentation required to fulfil Flakt Woods contractual obligations.
? Liaise with engineering team to ensure commissioning activities are carried out according to the site/customer requirements.
? Manage suppliers & sub-contractors to ensure products & services are supplied to meet our requirements.
? Raise purchase orders to meet the projects requirements
? Regularly update the service manager with project updates
? Ensure projects are closed down and invoiced once completed.

Person specification:
? The candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent commercial skills or abilities developed within the HVAC industry.
? The candidate will have an understanding of contract terms and conditions.
? Ability to create accurate financial and status reports.
? Interpersonal skills second to none, being comfortable and able to communicate effectively at all levels from the shop floor to the Executive ? internally, with our customers, suppliers and business partners.
? The candidate must have a proven track history in working within the HVAC and or M&E industry at project management level.
? Good lateral thinking, problem solving and prioritisation skills.
? Fully conversant in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
