Mechanical Design Engineer ideally with previous experience of the materials handling industry now required to design the mechanical aspects of materials handling systems for complex automated warehouse solutions.|
The successful Mechanical Designer will be working for the market leader in innovative logistics automation systems, designing, developing and supplying a comprehensive portfolio of products for conveyors and automated handling solutions.
The principle accountabilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer will be to:
* Interpret project layout and specification into final design layout and conveyor datalist
* Provide system integration drawings and specifications
* Assist with unit risk assessments
* Create detailed operating and maintenance instructions
* Work to bespoke customer requirements
Results orientated with the ability to analyse and make decisions, you will be a team player with good communication skills with proven record of working effectively under pressure. You will also ideally be qualified to minimum HND/HNC level in a relevant discipline and you must have experience of CAD tools.
This position is commutable from Banbury, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Warwick, Oxford, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bedford, and you can expect a competitive basic salary, with 5% Bonus, Pension and Healthcare.
