Are you an asbestos operative looking for work in the Glasgow area? Do you hold a valid CSCS card, own full PPE and have your own transport to get to site? Do you want to work on high spec, exciting and challenging projects? If the answer is yes to all of the above then you're in luck!|
Our HSE licenced clients have various removal contracts throughout the country and are looking for experienced asbestos removal operatives to work on these jobs. These jobs are on the back of having a very busy summer and have now secured a forward pipeline of work leading up to Christmas. Our client is a national contractor and has over 25+ years experience within the industry. They are involved in the full spectrum of asbestos management facilities and operate in various sectors including commercial, residential, industrial and local governments.
* Licenced removal of asbestos containing materials
* Working in asbestos compounds strictly adhearing to HSE guidelines
* General Labouring and other related duties
You must have previous experience within this sector and;
* Hold a valid CSCS card,
* Asbestos awareness certificate,
* Medical certificate,
* Own transportation to get to site
* Have full PPE and RPE (boots, transit boots, full face mask, half face mask, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high viz) and your own hand tools (Stanley knife, staple gun etc).
You also must be able to produce the following documents before commencement of the assignment.
* Full and Half Face Fits,
* Respirator Check Cert
* Asbestos training or refresher Certificate
