This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Coordinator to join an established business.

You will assist internal and external customers in all aspects of opportunity management through to order generation.

The role encompasses all in and outbound communication from the Tenders & Quotes team as well as the fulfillment of the core tasks.


• Telephone enquiry handling, including but not limited to price requests and lead times
• Quotations to include but not limited to:
a. Standard Quotation production
b. Complex quotations following non-standard SAP format to include system builds and 3rd party products
• Basic order management call handling such as delivery dates and stock queries
• Customer issue escalation and resolution
• Working in conjunction with Project Engineers to ensure a working solution is quoted accurately
• Accompanying Regional Account Managers to customer (off-site) visits as and when required to ensure all information is available to complete relevant system quotations
• Continuously improve quotation template to ensure customer satisfaction when receiving quotations
• Maintain & improve customer satisfaction by the provision of high level support to customers, including ensuring timely and efficient processing of customer requests with respect to pricing, delivery and product requirements
• Assist with logistic operations in terms of invoice control & accuracy through review of receipted orders
• Create and maintain accurate quotation data with systems including but not limited to SAP and CRM
• Review and handover of "Won" opportunities from the quotes and tenders team through to the order management team
• Undertake any other duties and projects in order to meet personal, team and organisational objectives
• Maximize potential sales through a high level of customer service being provided and use of the web shop as a route to markets for consumable product.


• Educated to Secondary Education level or equivalent commercial experience
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering (ONC level) or equivalent engineering experience
• IT knowledge: MS Office (Advanced)
• Customer orientation
• Ability to organise and prioritise
• Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual
• Experienced in phone-based business to business customer service within a specialist team
• Experience of working to targets
• Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering background from current or previous roles
• SAP and CRM - desirable
• Time Management Skills
