Successful social housing organisation are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Improvement Lead to join their Information Technology department. They are seeking a motivated and forward thinking Service Improvement Lead to step into this new role for an initial two year period. |
To be successful in this role, you will be hands on and passionate about working with the business to understand the root cause of performance challenges, developing implementation plans and delivering changes to their processes and systems which support their business and customer outcomes. You will define the overall strategy for their end to end business process, and working in collaboration with other process and operational leads across the Group.
To take hands-on responsibility for the IT Service Management tools (systems), processes and continuous service improvement programme. This includes ownership of areas such as IT service performance reporting, forecasting and forward planning, ITSM workflow systems, knowledgebase, self-service and telephony/other service desk contact systems. Process ownership extends into areas such as Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, Problem Management and Change Management and so on. This role is part of the IT Services Operations team and represents a focal point of responsibility for the outcomes of continual service improvement.
You should have clear demonstrable experience of working at a senior level and of balancing potentially conflicting business priorities. You will possess the ability to apply your technical skills to determining the most optimal approach to deliver short term benefits whilst building towards a strategic direction. You will be able to evidence where you have delivered substantial business improvements in a housing related organisation.
Ideally you will have:
TIL Foundation certificate (E)
ITIL Practitioner or Service Level Manager Certification (D)
