Junior Test Analyst working on BI Reports based in Castleford paying £24 per hour for 6 months.|
The Opportunity: A Junior Test Analyst / Test Engineer with experience of testing Business Intelligence Reports is required for an initial 6 month contract. This will be based in Castleford, West Yorkshire and is paying £24 per hour.
Skills and Experience: UAT testing, preferably with experience of Oracle AIM template suite. Experience translating user requirements into reporting specifications. Candidates will need some data migration experience to deal with the information being brought back in new system and to liaise with other data analysts responsible for the legacy ad-hoc data sources (MS Excel and Access).
Role and Responsibilities: I am short-listing for a Junior Test Analyst / Test Engineer with experience of testing Business Intelligence forms and reports and you will be working as part of a £multi-million Oracle GIS/Asset Management project. You will assist in testing reports and attending workshops to understand impact of business process changes on report designs; involved in supporting the systems integrator; will be the reporting lead in liaising with off-shore resources when finalising/tweaking report builds. User Acceptance Testing (UAT), supporting the clients test leaders and business champions when working through report tests, liaising with offshore team to describe minor defects/elicit minor enhancements. You will also assist with the roll-out, supporting the clients training lead and business champions when working through report tests. There will be some travel as and when required to other local sites.
