We are a global network of 8500 people across five continents all working together to achieve successful project delivery and exceptional results for our clients in water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings, and transportation.

Our global Marketing team, based in Australia, is embarking on a global review of the GHD website and needs a talented self-starter to support the management of web content out of Manila. This is currently a fixed term 12 months' contract / working 40 hours per week, however has the opportunity to become a permanent position.

The successful candidate will have an interest in digital technologies and experience in using CMS systems such as WordPress, Umbraco and Sharepoint. You will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, an eye for detail, and a good grasp of spelling and grammar.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role requires a motivated self-starter who is willing to take on new challenges. You will be able to work autonomously as part of a close knit team, and demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude.

On a daily basis you will:

  • manage and publish website content
  • undertake ad-hoc digital marketing requests
  • perform website administrative tasks

Your experience will show that you have:

  • exceptional written abilities (you will be asked to provide examples of your work)
  • an accurate and meticulous eye for detail
  • excellent skills in using CMS systems such as WordPress, Umbraco and Sharepoint along with knowledge of HTML and CSS /CSS5
  • familiarization with Photoshop, Dreamweaver or similar (desirable)
  • social media experience writing for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • effective planning, project and time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • tertiary qualifications in marketing, writing, communications or a related discipline (preferred)
  • a willingness to work in an agile environment and to take on new challenges as required
  • a positive, proactive attitude as you will be working in a close knit team and be able to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • a desire to contribute your knowledge and innovative ideas to this project when appropriate
  • an understanding of new digital technologies and social media trends (desirable)
  • the ability to meet deadlines
