Job Summary
If you are looking for your next career step into a rewarding role, AECOM has an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Bid Coordinator to join our Buildings Places team in Melbourne.
The Bid Coordinator assists our bid team to create and deliver high quality bid documents. With proven administrative experience in a professional environment this role will allow you to further develop your organisational, editing/writing and desktop publishing skills.
The Buildings Places Bid team are a small, dynamic, high-performing, collaborative team - who enjoy the thrill of meeting and exceeding deadlines, creating quality bids and tenders and are highly respected and valued within the wider Buildings Places team. Buildings Places work predominantly within the education, health, commercial, residential and government sectors.

Minimum Requirements
  • Support bid team to co-ordinate and prepare bid response to client specifications
  • Source/compile non-technical content including CVs, company information, insurances, ISO certificates
  • Format proposal documents ensuring strong brand compliance
  • Create document covers, dividers, diagrams, tables and graphs in line with our branding
  • Review proposal documents including editing, grammar and spelling prior to submission
  • Coordinate document production and delivery including printing, binding, CDs
  • Prepare presentations and content for interviews
  • Input and maintain accuracy of customer relationship management data
You will have:
  • A drive to learn and bring a proactive collaborate attitude to the team
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Time management and organisational skills; ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines, prioritising tasks and coordinating others to ensure deadlines are met
  • Brand awareness / corporate identity; implement style guides, visuals and templates for high quality proposals
  • Client focussed (both internal and external clients)

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications and experience:
  • Minimum three years of experience in office administration
  • Some bid, tender and marketing support exposure, within a professional services firm
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
  • Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
