My client is an award winning, leading construction consultancy with a specialist team of CDM Co-ordinators (Planning Supervisors) with a wide range of experience in all construction projects and provide a proactive service in full compliance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 for all construction works including demolition, new build, refurbishment and maintenance works.
Due to company growth, my client is looking for a CDM-C Consultant (Principal Designer) to join and head up the CDM team in Berkshire. They are particularly passionate about developing their staff and thus are offering a very unique opportunity, as they are looking to get someone in as Head of CDM-C with a clear scope of career progression. The successful candidate will also have the chance to build up the CDM team within the business. They enjoy a low staff turnover due to the loyalty that their employees feel towards them because of these genuine development opportunities.
Also offering the opportunity to work from home. The successful candidate must have a wealth of site based experience, and technical ability. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual to step up and help build & develop the Heath & Safety department within the firm.
Skills & experience
• Must have a wealth of site based experience
• Must be a Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner (CMIOSH) and ideally be an Incorporated Member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS),
• Must have client facing experience
• Able to travel to the two offices in the South East, as well as travel to site.
• Building Surveying experience would be beneficial but it's not essential.
• Must have managerial experience
• Must be self motivated
